We are huge fans of the Harlem Renaissance and the movie, Harlem Nights, so we decided to create an event that evoke the spirit of both! We combined it with Black History Month for a celebration of the art, literature and prosperity that came from the Harlem Renaissance.

To celebrate the Harlem Renaissance and Black History Month, Prototype MKTG and Visions 2 Life Events will bring to life a speakeasy style experience inspired by the movie, Harlem Nights, called the Club Sugar Ray Experience. The immersive experience will transport guests to 1930’s Harlem, during the height of the Harlem Renaissance.

 

Guests will experience live jazz-age music, dance performances, burlesque performances (no-nudity) gaming tables, open bar and more! Guests are encouraged to don their finest 1920’s/30’s inspired garments to fully immerse themselves into this era of decadence and excess.
